Cheryl Cottrell-Smith

Cheryl has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English from the University of Alberta, Canada, and a Master’s Degree in Renaissance Literature, 1500-1700 from the University of York, UK. Her Master’s dissertation dealt with science and Chaos in John Milton’s Paradise Lost and was entitled “Theories of Matter, Motion, and Space: The Scientific Structures of Order in Milton’s Chaos.” Cheryl’s academic interests include: Renaissance metaphysics; physics, movement and matter in Early Modern literature; and the geometrical implications of Renaissance cosmography.
