Shoshannah Bryn Jones Square is in the first year of her Doctor of Philosophy in English at the University of Oxford. Her doctoral thesis, ‘The Efficacy of Feeling in the Fiction of Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley’, argues for the essential correlation between the literary and the ethical as it is conveyed in the affecting fiction of these Romantic-era authors.
